Coffee/ Caffeine / Caffe'

Recently it has come to light that for each mg of caffeine consumed, roughly 1.07mg

of fluid is lost from the body. Given most drinks will provide about 200ml of fluid this will still leave a net gain of about 150ml of fluid entering the body. So, while caffeine does promote some fluid loss it does not do so at levels that will dehydrate the body.

Caffeine is also no longer considered a banned substance in elite sports

The earliest credible evidence of coffee--drinking as modern beverage appears in the modern-day Yemen in southern Arabia in the middle of 15th century in Sufi shrines where coffee seeds were first roasted and brewed in a manner similar to how it is now prepared for drinking.

WHY IS COFFEE SO LOVED

The caffeine in it plays two roles in why people drink coffee. First, the caffeine in coffee helps to get people blood moving and makes them feel energised... This is one of the top reasons that many people drink coffee. The other reason caffeine is a reason that people drink coffee is that it is addictive.

I love the good Italian coffee myself that consists of The Moka Pot.

The Moka Pot is a stove - top or electric coffee maker that brews coffee passing boiling water pressurised by steam through ground coffee.

Named Yemeni city of Mocha. It was invented by Italian engineer Alfonso Bialetti in 1933 and quickly became one of the staples of Italian culture.

Enjoying a cup of coffee brings me so much pleasure day dreaming in Positano Italia.

Pursing my lips one sip at a time.
